We offer a variety of weekly classes to choose from. If you are an existing client with us, there is no need to create a new account, you're already in our system and can Book classes below. Use your email for Username and click "Need New Password?" if you need to set or reset your CYS MINDBODY password. ** For safety, we are practicing Social Distancing offering In Studio classes which will simultaneously be LiveStreamed online for those who wish to Shelter In Place and Nama"Stay" at hOMe. You will BOOK your classes at least 1hr. before class time just like normal to participate in the online class. In studio classes are being limited to 10 students with a waiting list.**

Yin Yoga +Meditation Description
Need a deep stretch?  Yin Yoga is a slow-paced (Lunar) style of yoga with more seated & supine postures (asanas) that are held for comparatively longer periods of time with the help of yoga props--five minutes or longer per pose is typical. In the first half of the class enjoy a slow, low flow to warm the body.  Then in the second half of the class we will be able to hold each pose longer, having time to explore different types of breathing meditations, guided meditations and visualizations for deeper relaxation and maximum stress relief.  Room temperature 80 degrees.
 
Yin Yoga poses are held longer for a deeper stretch to the connective tissues—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Yin Yoga poses are also designed to improve the flow of prana or chi, the subtle energy said in Chinese medicine to run through the meridian pathways of the body. Improved flow of chi is said to improve organ health, immunity, and emotional well-being.

In this class you'll be guided through basic power flow sequences, focusing on the synchronization of breath with movement (Vinyasa flow) based around the Sun Salutations. Students will be encouraged to modify asanas as much as needed and reminded to listen to their bodies allowing their breath to be their guide.
 
Students should be familiar with basic yoga poses before attending any flow class. This class is practiced at regular room temperature of 80-82 degrees, for those who like a challenge, but without the extra heat.

This "Broga" class is designed predominately for men to help improve their golf game. We focus on flexibility with gentle stretches & twists that help with shoulders & hips range of motion/mobility and additional focus on core & balance.
 
Yoga for Golf will help to to increase your range of motion in your hips and trunk of your body as well as build strength in your core, creating more rotation and follow through, thus giving you the distance you've either lost or have not found on the course. We all know how nice it is to be hitting a wedge into the green rather than a long iron :-)

Golf is very one-sided - you swing over and over on your right or left side. The sequence of postures in this class will help to balance you out. This class will provide opportunities to work on your shoulders, hips, core/trunk, hamstrings - all areas of the body that are crucial for a fluid and PAIN FREE golf swing! You will also work on your breath and mental game, knowing how important it is to take a big breath before a swing to reduce tension and to keep a positive and focused mid set, taking the time to visual and see the shot you are about to hit.

Up your game and increase your competitive advantage through yoga!
